There are five sports simulations in Wii Sports. They are:

* Tennis – Player character movement is controlled by the computer. The game is controlled by the player performing realistic tennis swings. Multiplayer is supported for up to 4 players, requiring one remote per player.

* Baseball – One player stands at home plate, and the other is the pitcher. Batters grip and swing the controller like a bat, trying to time their swings correctly. When pitching, players can choose different types of pitches, activated by pressing one or more of the Wii Remote’s buttons (A, B, or A+B) or by changing to underarm pitching by pressing the 2 button. The pitch types are screwball, curveball, splitter and fastball. If there is only one player, the opposing team is computer controlled. The game lasts 3 innings with the mercy rule ending the game early if one player leads by 5 runs. Multiplayer is supported with each team taking turns batting/ pitching in the same way as playing against the computer. The maximum possible amount of players are two. Two remotes are required for multiplayer.

* Golf – In Golf, the player can choose the appropriate strength with which to swing. The player can adjust the direction of the play as well as which club to use. After each swing, the player moves to the ball’s new location and swings again. The faster the player swings the controller, the further the ball will fly. Swinging the controller too fast will cause the ball to slice or hook, and the player controls the direction with the + pad. Putting requires more delicacy. Nine of the eighteen holes from Golf are included. Multiplayer with up to four people is supported with one (or more) Wii Remote(s).

* Boxing – This is the only Wii Sports title to use both the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk attachment. The player holds the Wii Remote in one hand and the Nunchuk in the other and jabs to punch (quick flicks of the wrist are most effective). Raising both controllers blocks punches from the opponent, and moving the Wii Remote and Nunchuk moves the players fists. Moving the controllers from side to side and backward and forward causes the character to lean appropriately. A health meter is displayed next to the boxers. With each successful hit, health is deducted. When all health is depleted the player is knocked down. The player may then rise, with a partially refilled health meter. After being knocked down several times, the player will stay down, and the referee will declare “knockout”. If the player is not hit for some time, or when the player is knocked out by shaking both the remote and the Nunchuk, the health restores. More powerful punches come from counterpunching. Multiplayer with up to two people is supported (but requires two Wii Remotes with Nunchuk attachments).

* Bowling – In Bowling, the player swings the controller backward and then forward to bowl the ball. Spin can be put on the ball by tilting the controller. Many Easter eggs exist in this game, including the ball bouncing if the player delays his/her release[2], making the ball fall back towards the crowd, and bowling off onto another lane[3]. Multiplayer with up to four people is supported with one (or more) Wii Remote(s).

After every game, a player is awarded (or penalized) skill points based on how well they played. Once a player has 1000 skill points in a certain sport, they are considered pro level, and often awarded with cosmetic features (a Pro bowler has stars on their bowling ball). Also a Mii newly turned pro will receive a message on the Wii’s message board notifying them. Baseball and Boxing do not reward or subtract points during multiplayer games. Points can be earned in multiplayer tennis matches, on the condition that the two players are on the same team against the computer. Presumably this is done to curb cheating where a human player could deliberately lose to another human and artificially boost the winner’s skill points.

Can you take a picture remotely in Second Life?

In the Second Life online game, I would like to place a camera on my sim that is motion activated, taking pictures regardless of whether I am there or not. Can anyone tell me if this is possible?

Many thanks in advance,

Lindsay

The only way to do that would be to have an alt (alternate account) logged in and take the snapshots from that account instead. Someone would have to sit at the keyboard and watch the screen for the moment to take the snapshots, there would be no way of making it automatic and there’s no way to take a pic remotely without at least one avatar being there.

How do I disable the security system on my 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo?

The security alarm wont shut off no matter what. Theres no horn, but the lights outside and the inside dash security light flashes and they just won’t shut off. This is keeping me from starting the Jeep. The security system in this jeep will shut off the fuel injector and keeps it from running. I need to disable the security system all together. How can I do this?

If you need to disable the security system then remove its wiring and for that you may refer to the user manual of the security system.

Thanks

A KVM Drawer is a combination of a LCD monitor, keyboard and mouse in a compact, sliding unit. As a space saving solution, these units can fit into 1U or 2U of rack space. With enhancements in technology, various models of these drawers are available in the marketplace today. Some of the more popular ones include:

Composite drawer 1U,

ANSI Terminal drawer with Console Switch 1U,

DVI Drawer,

PS2 1U/2U Drawer,

PS2 Dual Slide,

SUN Drawer,

SUN with USB KVM,

Sunlight Readable Drawer,

USB Drawer 1U/2U,

Dual Slide USB and

Drawer with CAT5 IP KVM Switch.

A unique model that has two sliding mechanisms – one for the mouse/keyboard portion and another for the LCD – is the dual slide 1U KVM Drawer. These features operate independently of one another allowing the LCD portion to remain open while the rack door is closed.

The DVI, SUN, Composite and S-Video drawers differ in the type of video connections supported by them. Compatible with a variety of systems, including Windows, SUN, Dell, UNIX, and Linux, these units are available with either 17″, 19″ or 20″ LCD screens. Certified by CE, FCC, TAA and VCCI, these devices have a black anodized aluminum front panel. Equipped with lock out slide rails which prevent movement of the keyboard, these drawers have a unique design that maximizes rack mountable space.

All of these Rackmount KVM units have a built in on screen display (OSD) for ease of operation and setup. Each is hot pluggable, allowing for PCs to be added or removed without powering down the USB KVM switch or computers. Requiring no additional software for installation, the devices can be controlled via the On Screen Display, Push Buttons or by using Hot Key Commands. Some models also support multiple languages and have the ability to automatically sense video resolution for best screen capture. The IP KVM drawers also offer a 128 bit secure browser based user access from anywhere in the world over IP. This device also has an auto scan feature which enables regular monitoring of servers between 5 to 99 seconds.

A cost effective solution for server rooms, the KVM Drawer is as a boon for network administrators as it saves valuable rack space and enables them to access their computer systems through standard server rack environments.

does the server contain a copy of the audio & video files despite having privacy options in yahoo messenger?

I heard that despite using the privacy settings of yahoo messenger, the audio and video files are stored in the yahoo server, is it true? what is the scope of these privacy settings? How far safe are we when chatting/ video conferencing on the web?

Any server is just that. Its a file server. All internet traffic is sent as files. The server does not create a direct connection between you and another computer. It receives the files you want to send, saves them to its system, then sends it back out.

It HAS to store the files because of the way the internet works. Everything is in packets. A server sends a packet, waits for the other system to say it received it properly, then resends the packet if it needs to.

How LONG it stores the files is up to the person running the system. But as a general rule, your stuff and the logs of your actions, are kept for a month. For things like email, its kept on the server longer. For things like IM Im guessing shorter.

If you are concerned then you need to look into encrypted internetting. Its becoming available for file transfers, for email, for browsing, for everything.

wireless video transmitter – Wireless cable tv transmitter

TV transmitter is a device that is use for transferring video into the TV with a player with a moving the player to the TV. For example you want to play songs or videos at your TV and your component is attached at your car or vehicle. You can simply use a TV transmitter at your component and connect it to the transmitter while the other end is connected to the TV. Now that is handy since you don’t have to move your large component to get near to the TV now. You just need to connect each of wires in both ends. The problem with TV transmitter is it has wire and if your kids step on it the wire inside the cable, they might break it and your transmitter will be a waste.

Wireless cable TV transmitter still has same use with that of a cabled TV transmitter. It is also used for transmitting files to your TV. But the major difference is that it does not have any cable wires to start with. That means it do not have wires that can be destroyed or damaged when step in to. Also it does not need extensions for it to reach a distance. It has a sensor that can reach quite a few meters or feet. Many manufacturers have enhanced this product to enhance its uses and for it to be more useful to consumers and households. With this device you can have a clear connection from your attach component to your TV. One inventor said that technology is neither a price nor a luxury; it is a gift that man should have use wisely.

If you’re going to buy a wireless TV transmitter you should ask for a price first that would fit its function and works. Some companies sell it at a higher price because they have some more fixes and attachment that have been done for it to have a better result. Be also aware that some sell it at a higher price because they have good reputation. You do not need to buy a device because it has a brand.

You need to look at its components and standards. In that way you can assure that you are not just throwing your money nor just like giving it to the company that make it. You can also connect this device to a camera in case that you would like to guard something with out going in and out in that place.

All devices have its small piece of utilities that if child plays he or she might get choked. You must put these devices off the child’s range. You also need to be careful where you put it because if you put it near the edge it might fall and might cause some of its parts to malfunction. If you have a child that plays around you might need to hide somewhere where he or she cannot see. It is because if he or she did she might throw it away and might cause the device’s destruction and would turn this item into useless.

Will a DECT phone interfere with my Wireless Video cameras?

I have 2, 2.4ghz Wireless Video cameras from Q-see. The receiver is in my bedroom. I had a Uniden 2,4ghz Phone system and it interfered so I purchased a 5.8 Vtech and the interference was worse. I use 4-5 Handsets in my house.
Will a DECT system solve my issues?

The new DECT-6 phones operate in the 1.9 GHz band and thus should not interfere with any 2.4 GHz devices

It is surprising 5.8 GHz interfered.
Only explanation I can think of for that is because the devices are “too close” in proximity. You may need more separation between the phones and Q-See to prevent “over drive” on the receiver front-end. of the Q-See receiver.

Any transmitting device can potentially interfere with another receiving device if it is “close enough” to the receiver to “over drive” its front-end circuitry.

Also, if you have very close neighbours, they may also have 2.4 GHz devices that may cause interference, too.

Motion Activated Face, 40, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “2″, “”, “4″

The 7th house (where the Sun visits every year) draws your attention to the business of relating, to marriage and the need for that special someone in your life. When you look at a chart and there are planets in the 7th (at birth) they are ‘activated’ at least once a month (by the Moon) and once a year by the Sun, along with other visitors to the 7th at various time in the year and in your life. Your natal chart offers information about how you cooperate with others and they with you = relationships. Lawsuits are also shown here as well as one-to-one friendships (your best friend). What you think you lack in yourself you’ll attract in others and what you abhor in others is a reflection of what you ‘hate’ in yourself!

Being the house of Attraction you’ll ‘draw’ to yourself whatever and whomever you need in order to grow and develop. In understanding any planets within or aspects to the 7th you’ll come to understand what it is you NEED (which is different to what you want). Remember, this position won’t show any actual person but it will indicate the ‘type’ of individual being ‘drawn’ into your life or, the type of person you’re attracted to…

Grandparents are shown here as well as anyone who acts on your behalf (agents etc.). Being the house of Open Enemies (and who is our biggest enemy?) refer to this house when you feel you’re being ‘persecuted’ in any way… The 7th house is multi-faceted for it is the house of equality and if any relationship, marriage or union is not ‘equal’ then failure is sure to follow. The challenge of how two people can make any kind of relationship (marriage) work is perhaps the greatest challenge we all face, it is not to be taken lightly. Talking of marriage, not everyone enters the marital bed with ‘love in his or her eyes’. No way for there’s often a hidden agenda working beneath the surface. Fire signs indicate and impulsiveness in forming partnerships. Earth signs take their time. Air signs need communication. Water signs need relationships more than most thinking “being with someone is better than being alone…” This information is offered as a guideline only for there are many, many dynamics at work when two people meet face-to-face (another keyword for this house).

Human being are perhaps the most vulnerable of all when it comes to relationships for many, many attract the same circumstances over and over again, never really learning anything, it’s always something that happens to them or the other person’s fault or, even blaming FATE…

The 7th house in reality is asking you to look at your 1st for they mirror each other.

Look to any planets in this house for they’ll tell you about what you need or what you can expect in any partnership/relationship/close friendship. Example the Sun in the 7th could mean looking for a father figure! The Moon could mean that you’re looking for a mother figure and so on. “I have Uranus located here – what does that say about what I need?” Drop me an email with your suggestions LOL. Sometimes the actual sign or the element of the sign on the cusp can give you a clue as to what you need in a partner or, what you need to express outwardly.

Being the house of ‘balance’ it’s often the case that we seek in ‘another’ that part of our ‘self’ that need to be made ‘whole’ (whether this is achieved easily is another matter) for remember this house is all about the identification of oneself through interacting with others on a personal level (remember this the next time you pick a ‘fight’ with another for you’re really ‘fighting’ with yourself!) Examine this house for it set’s in motion patterns. “If you always do what you’ve always done then you’ll always get what you’ve always got.” As I said the 7th house indicates patterns and if you won’t learn from the experiences offered by this house then you are ‘doomed’ to repeat them until you do.

Keeping in mind ‘patterns’ are set in motion if the same thing happens to you a third time and then they are difficult to break.

Cat won’t stay off counters and pet cages HELP!?

I have tried everything and tried every suggestion online to keep my cat off the kitchen counters. We recently purchased additional pets that stay in a cage so now he’s jumping on that too. Is there anything we can do? I’ve tried tape, orange spray, water, pennies in a can, even the motion activated spray. This cat is trying his hardest to eat my anoles and has ruined furniture and broken dishes jumping on and off the counter. I have even had to throw away food because he sticks his face in the pots and pans while they’re cooking and drinks out of our glasses. Someone please help I don’t know what else to do!
We’ve actually tried the blender trick, he sniffed it and kept playing on the counter.

You… need to be the boss of your cat.
I don’t have a cat, but here’s what I’d probably try:

Keep him locked in a bathroom or something when you’re not there to actually watch him, until he stops misbehaving.
When you are there, watch him. If he gets up on the counter, or otherwise does things he’s not supposed to do, yell at him, and physically remove him, possibly sticking him back in the bathroom for a while.

Once he’s been behaving while actually in your presence for a while, set things up (pennies in cans, or something) so that you’ll be able to tell from the next room if he’s jumped on the counter. If he does, again, yell, remove, and if necessary stick back in the bathroom.

Once he seems to have *that* down, try leaving him alone for short periods, with something set up so you’ll know if he’s been on the counter. If he seems to be behaving, leave him free for longer stretches alone. Once you get to the point where he’s been not jumping on the counter even when you’re gone all day, you’ve probably broken the habit, and can stop setting up can traps every time you leave the house.

As to the anoles, I’m not sure if there’s anywhere you can put them where he won’t readily see them, but if there is, you should do so. Cats will pretty much see anything the size of an anole that’s moving around as a tasty crunchy cat treat, or at least a live cat toy. You can’t really blame him for his instincts.

Cctv Sign, 40, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “2″, “”, “4″

Home security signs serve a few important purposes any resident should be aware of and consider for the safety of their family and for their personal property. Just having the signs up can act as a deterrent for robberies and any other illegal and invasive acts against a residence. Of course having a home security system of some sort to back the signs up would be highly suggested considering the signs will cause some burglars to decide against taking the chance but not all of them and not always.

If you have home security signs and wish to put them up be sure to put them where they will be easily seen and at eye level of an average-sized adult which would be approximately between five and six feet from the ground. Next to the front door and on a fence near the gate if there is one are two good places to start with. If you actually do not have a security system in place but have signs stating you do and the signs have a name on them of an actual business it would be wise to find out if it’s illegal to post them before doing so.

This is very important to be sure you are not violating any laws or rules and if it’s found what you want to do is illegal then other signs can be found to serve the same purpose. Another issue to consider is how many to put up because if too many signs get posted and causes the home to stand out because of all the signs this is actually drawing attention more than would be wanted and could be taken as a challenge to a burglar with arrogance or who is also a thrill seeker. Not enough signs and too many signs can both work against you when it comes to safety so be careful.

Home security signs are great and are very beneficial in casting a doubt in a large percentage of common burglars but it’s also dangerous to assume that they are all “common”. The very best way to deter a burglar from burglarizing your home is to actually have a home security system installed and activated to go along with the signs you want to post. The combination of the two have a much better chance of securing your home, family, pets and personal belongings you cherish and especially the ones you cannot replace with insurance money.

Wireless Video Audio, 40, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “”, “2″, “”, “4″

In the wireless network to transmit audio / video – wireless networking, audio, video – Communications Industry

MPEG-1 with its subset called “constrained parameter bit stream”, or the performance of the CPB is widely used. This performance is stored in the CD-ROM Red Book audio standard compliance requirements, the same number of video and audio data and design. This means that a 74 minutes of CD-ROM, you can save a full 74 minutes of video and audio. This standard is known as the White Paper or video CD (VCD). At 44.1kHz sampling rate conditions, the video data rate is set at 1.15Mb / s, audio data rate of 224Kb / s; video size is locked to 352×240 30fps NTSC and 352×280 25fpsPAL (also known as the CIF).

This standard is working well, but only the “standard” television performance of a quarter, and often caused controversy in the television public, but at that time was this is still an amazing technological achievements. About 1.5Mbit / s (125Kbytes / s) bit rate, the existing cable modem can easily transfer MPEG-1CPB flow, but for wireless cellular networks, to reliably do this there is still a long way to go. In addition, MPEG-1 network transmission and the lack of correct re-synchronization errors. MPEG-2 has this functionality, but to the actual implementation of the technology to catch up with the time, MPEG-4 and other streaming format has been displayed in front of people.

MPEG-2 has a higher data transfer rates, which range from 6 to 10Mbit / s. Bit rate 6Mbit / s and 9Mbit / s between the MPEG-2 (720×480 resolution) is ideal for DVD, it has also been selected to do the work; however, that under the bit rate, network traffic should more difficult, but the picture quality can be achieved watching television standards. MPEG-2 also has the packet, fault tolerance and correction, fast forward, rewind and other functions required for broadcasting. Then the MPEG-2 is also suitable for wireless / mobile streaming video equipment? Network channel must be 1MB / s data transfer rate to ensure reliable MPEG-2 video transmission, playback, and can be watched. Therefore, people have been exploring the best of the video stream format. MPEG-4 is the answer.

Why the answer is in the MPEG-4?

Requirements: high compression ratio, high video quality and powerful system layer; MPEG-4 wireless mobile video devices can provide satisfactory performance. (Note: This does not refer to MPEG-3, MPEG-2 directly from the rising to the MPEG-4; often mistaken for the MP3 is MPEG-3 audio is actually MPEG-1 Audio Layer III).

MPEG-4 format 1MBit / s bit rate can achieve the quality of MPEG-2720×480 resolution. If the video reduced to MPEG-1CPB, can be 350KBit / s data rate and reasonable can receive video. Further minimize the ratio may be 100KB / s data rate. Of course, due to the decline in the quality of video is not worth reading. We believe that the resolution of 352×240 or common interchange format (CIF, CommonInterchangeFormat) is the minimum acceptable video clarity. QCIF very interesting and in some network channel is essential. Table 1 lists the common terms of video resolution.

We would not consider the video resolution of the problem, first to see if suitable for wireless transmission using MPEG-4 video streams. To answer this question, we have two ways to study the MPEG-4?? Video compression capabilities and system layer. Existing mobile phone use general packet radio service (GPRS) standard 2.5G technology, the network data transfer rate can reach close to 112kbps. This rate is not fast, not too reliable, and see where you use. 3G network data transfer rate close to 2Mbps, which is a big improvement. Although 2.5Gw/GPRS can support a number of video streams, but until the advent of 3G, mobile phone anytime, anywhere using only universal up to watch the video stream. Of course, the wider the data pipeline, the higher video quality.

We now take a closer look at some data, in order to include them in the article. Most of the broadband network data rate is the number of bits used to represent every few seconds. Since each byte has 8 bits, so we put it more simply expressed as the number of bytes per second or bps divided by 8. So, 2.5Gw/GPRS is 14,000 bytes per second speed of the channel (14kBps. Note: capital B that byte). Accordingly, 3G is the rate 250kBps channel. 1X CD-ROM drive under the speed of transferring data 150kBps. As the 3G bandwidth for the 250kBps, in theory, will be MPEG-1CPB video, audio streams directly to the 3G receiver should be no problem. Of course, we may be only 60% of channels to the video service, but this effect can be a very good video. Since it’s compression is much better than MPEG-1, then we can use 3G technology is the effect of what DVD format. On the MPEG-4, the answer was yes.

MPEG-1 data rate required per second 600kBps (4.8Mbps) channel, to achieve full D1 video resolution. This obviously requires less bandwidth 3G budget. DVD (currently using MPEG-2 video compression) constant speed of 6Mbps per second compression. Therefore, in order to experience the video content using the 3G technology, compression technology is not needed is not MPEG-1 MPEG-2. Now we still do not know the implementation of the first generation of 3G technology can make DVD video experience possible; but if possible, that MPEG-4 compression technology and the related can give us a direction. Then the current 3G technology enables the ultimate video performance to what kind of state do, we think that will be CIF. As mentioned above, 30 frames of the CIF image quality is quite clear, was designated as the current video benchmark. So, if the channel transmission rate of 2Mbps, which CPBVCD they adapt to this channel, why not directly use the MPEG-1 do? The reason is simple, in the same bit rate, MPEG-4 compression efficiency is that it’s 3 times, and under certain conditions will be more efficient. This means that the transmission rate of 300-400kbps to 1.2Mbps MPEG-4 stream and under the MPEG-1 CPB CI has the same picture quality.

Fujitsu MPEG-4 chip has been added to the mobile media processor (MMP) of the new product line. Fujitsu energy-efficient MPEG-4 core to 2Mbps per second bit rate and speed per second for the CIF 30fps encoding or decoding (see Figure 5), compared to the standard frame rate to 15fps in QCIF for video calling. MPEG-4 core has two noteworthy features. First, the movement of vector technology with adaptive motion estimation computation circuit monitoring system of traditional sports 1 / 20. Second,

Home Security Appliance Control System – What’s Fabulous In It?

Modern technology helps homeowners monitor both home security and home appliances at the same time.

This one-touch home automation makes it possible to control each room in your house. By setting one central control panel, you can tell your coffee pot when to start brewing, your turn your lights on and off, open or close the garage door, or turn on the garage light to help you get to your car.

You can arrive home after work to a gleaming porch light gleaming and your favorite music welcoming you. You can go to sleep to the sounds of your favorite DVD or your favorite late-night TV show. With this customizable home automation, you can program your house to keep you with your family’s routines.

Central to the home security appliance system is the remote control linked to the system center. Through the control system center, you use the remote control to operate the alarm system, the television, your DVD player and stereo, the home entertainment center, and – yes – even your coffee pot. Some systems even have accessory remote controls that you can attach to your key chain and operate from your car.

A few examples things a top-quality home security appliance control system will do include:

- turn appliances, wall switches, and lighting off and on

- adjusting the thermostat for hourly temperature fluctuations

- program events for specific times

- set lighting and heating systems to automatically adjust for changing sunrise and sunset hours

- control holiday lighting

- open and close drapes

Easy to learn to operate, the best systems are user-friendly so that you don’t have to worry about a steep learning-curve. You don’t have to re-wire your home for the wireless systems, and you can program timed routines to continue daily (great for when you’re traveling). These convenient features create the illusion that someone’s home when the house is most vulnerable – when no one’s there.

Once equipped with an automated home security appliance system, your smart home will be the envy of the neighborhood. As happens with any new technology, the systems prices are beginning to come down. However, at this time, the cost may be imposing to budget-conscious homeowners.

While the novelty of automatic normal household appliances is attractive, the security and peace of mind that these systems provide is their greatest value. Home security appliance control systems gives you the comfort of knowing you can control conditions in your home any time, from any place. You can monitor your home and, in emergencies, the alarm will sound. You’ll be notified, and calls will go out to the police or fire departments.

With a home security appliance system, you can rest knowing that the system will shut off ventilation and gas and then light escape exits while it notifies the fire department about fire or gas leaks.

The system also helps you save money and energy by controlling home heating and cooling systems while you’re away from the house. You can make those energy-efficient lights, water heaters, kitchen appliances, and other appliances even more energy-efficient by programming start-up and shut-down times. You can even control the thermostat throughout the day.

Home security appliance control systems offer a comprehensive integrated solution to home management. They let you control almost every element in your house and save time and money in the process. The extra bonus is the peace of mind they bring.

Isn’t it time that you looked into a home security appliance control system for your house?

It will not affect what you can do with your own video.

The card supports certain forms DRM used for commercial content, so content can stay on the card and be worthless if it is copied off in an unauthorized fashion. IT does that, I suppoes, by holding decryption keys in a secret crpyto protected area of memory on the card.
