The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Oak Park Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

a man walked up to the counter at the CVS Pharmacy, 345 Madison, at 7:04 a.m. Jan.. 10, implied he had a gun, and demanded money. The clerk gave him between $200 and $240 and the man ran out of the store.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Cameras, electronic games and $200 were reported missing from a home on the 1100 block of South Lyman Avenue between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Jan.. 10. The basement door of the home had been forced open. The cameras and games were valued at $1,600.

A television, artwork and clothes valued at $1,800 were reported missing from a home on the 1100 block of Harrison between Jan. 4 and Jan.. 8.

An electronic game, camera, clothes and $50 in coins were reported missing from a home on the 1100 block of South Humphrey Avenue between 12:15 p.m. and 4 p.m. Jan.. 12. a door window in the rear of the home was broken. The game, camera and clothes were valued at $690.

Two GPS devices, a cell phone and two gift cards valued at $1,500 were reported missing from an unlocked car on the 800 block of North Austin Blvd. between 8:45 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. Jan.. 9.

A side window was broken and a car radio was reported missing from a vehicle parked on the 1100 block of North Austin Blvd. between 1:30 a.m. Jan.. 10 and 8:55 a.m. Jan.. 11.

Two Chicago juveniles, age 12 and 15, were arrested on the 800 block of North Taylor Avenue at 2:12 p.m. Jan.. 15, and charged with the theft of a blood glucose monitor from a UPS package. they were turned over to guardians.

Three copper planter boxes valued at $1,000 were reported missing from the front yard of a home on the 600 block of South Carpenter between 12:01 a.m. and 6 a.m. Jan.. 14.

A metal mover’s dolly valued at $100 was reported missing from a locked basement on the 100 block of South Harvey Avenue between 5:45 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Jan.. 10.

A Glen Ellyn woman reported $300 was stolen on the 100 block of Madison between 12:15 and 12:50 p.m. Jan.. 11.

A man was observed on video surveillance stealing $445.80 worth of acid reflux medications from Dominick’s, 259 Lake St., at 9:55 a.m. Jan.. 12.

Kristine E. Turner, 35, of the 600 block of North Elmwood Avenue, Oak Park was arrested at 2:10 p.m. Jan.. 12, after turning herself in for numerous thefts that occurred at an acquaintance’s home on the 600 block of North fair Oaks in 2011. Police said Turner pawned an iPod docking station that was reported stolen from the neighboring home.

The driver’s side window of a car parked on the 400 block of South Grove Avenue was damaged between 7 p.m. Jan.. 13 and 10:30 a.m. Jan.. 14. damage was estimated at $200.

The driver’s side window of a car parked on the 100 block of South Lombard was smashed between 9:03 p.m. Jan.. 13 and 10:30 a.m. Jan.. 14. damage was estimated at $250.

A large rock was used to break the front passenger window of a car on the 600 block of Harrison Street between 10:15 p.m. and 10:18 p.m. Jan.. 11.

Grant a. Miller, 20, of the 700 block of North Kenilworth Avenue, Oak Park, was charged Jan.. 14 with DUI and possession of marijuana. He was stopped for an alleged traffic violation on the first block of Chicago Avenue at 3:19 a.m.

John C. Martel, 21, of the 2200 block of Penneview Lane, Schaumburg, was charged Jan.. 10 with possession of a controlled substance after police allegedly discovered 4.4 grams of heroin on him. He was arrested at the Shell gas station at Harrison Street and Austin Boulevard at 5:01 p.m. Police were responding to a report of a semi-conscious man using the gas station restroom.

Brandon Coleman, 32, of the 400 block of South Lombard Avenue, Oak Park, was charged with several drug possession citations following his arrest on the 200 block of Madison at 7:33 a.m. Jan.. 14. Police said an investigation led to acquiring a search warrant for Coleman’s home, where they reportedly discovered 58 grams of marijuana packaged for delivery. He was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school.

An Oak Park boy was arrested at Oak Park River Forest High School at 2:20 p.m. Jan.. 9 after he was found in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was processed and turned over to a parent.

Philip W. Palombo, 51, of the 200 block of South Marion Street, Oak Park, was arrested at his home at 9:07 p.m. Jan.. 9 and charged with battery after allegedly pushing another person.

Trenell M. Jackson, 37 of the 200 block of North Austin Boulevard, Oak Park, was arrested at 1:05 p.m. Jan.. 10 after turning himself in in connection with a signed complaint of domestic battery for punching a woman in the face.

Jonathon P. may, 33, of the 1100 block of South East Avenue, Oak Park, was arrested at his home on a Cook County Sheriff’s warrant for forgery at 12:51 p.m. Jan.. 12. He was ordered held without bond while awaiting a hearing at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Erman T. Willimas, 36, of the 200 block of South Oak Park Avenue, Oak Park, was arrested at his home at 1:44 p.m. Jan.. 12, on a DuPage County warrant for contempt of court.
