NAPCO Security Technologies announces shipment of its Starlink 2 GSM alarm system communicator
Dec 29, 2011 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) — NAPCO Security Technologies inc NSSC, a supplier of electronic security equipment, disclosed on Wednesday that its Starlink 2 two-way GSM alarm system communicator has been shipped to replace hardwire dial up phone lines.
Additionally, the company said that Starlink 2 is its second potentially recurring revenue product line being priced at USD99.95 to installers and which provides a USD5.00 to USD8.00 recurring monthly service fee to NAPCO.
Furthermore, Starlink 2 provides added security by transmitting GPRS burglar/fire/medical emergency signals to alarm central stations and maintains communications even if burglars cut outside cables in order to bypass existing alarm systems.
Easy to install, Starlink 2 is uploadable and downloadable for security dealers to programme or reprogramme the installed systems without visiting the premise, it provides the central station with location information of the burglar and a fire in the premise and the central stations do not need any special equipment to receive the StarLink 2 signals, NAPCO also mentioned.
