According to Magno G. Adalin Jr., chief of the Public Safety Command Center (PSCC), they are considering the service provider they can partner with the project.
“For now, wala pay provider. Medyo trabahoso siya kay gikinahanglan nga wireless kasi nga i-install nato sa outdoor (It could entail a lot of work since the equipment are wireless and installed outdoors),” Adalin said during Monday’s Kapehan sa Dabaw at SM.
The official added that they plan to put the CCCTVs in checkpoint areas in Sirawan, Ilang and Lasang areas.
The cameras will also be placed at the City Hall, City Council building, Rizal Park, Sta. Ana Wharf and People’s Park.
Adalin is hopeful that the project will push through soon. (Rhona O. Goc-ong)
