Peugeot 407 filling cap sensor, The warning alarm is driving me mad.?
The message that comes up on the screen is “fuel cap not properly closed” (although it is!) I assume a faulty sensor is causing the problem. It’s not possible for me to get to the garage in the next few days, is there anything I can do, like turn the warning off?

It’s definitely a sensor. Just ignore the message for some time, and manually check the cap from time to time.
