Protect Your Home with Private Property Signs
Do you have a property which you can’t visit very often? Or, do you live in an area where parking space is scarce? If you do, you may wish to keep unwanted visitors out of your yard or driveway. If you’re living in a rural place with a vast portion of land, it may be really hard to keep a strict eye to prevent trespassers from camping, fishing, or playing in your backyard. Having private property signs around your home is a great way to tell people that they are not allowed to be on your property.
In most of the cases, people do not know that they are entering your private land because there are no private property signs installed. If you want to prevent people from hiking and camping on your land you should install these signs. Most of the time they don’t mean any harm, it is simply the lack of private property signs that leads to trespassing. If you have never thought of using this sign to protect your home, you should consider it now because this is an inexpensive way to keep your property safe when you are not around.
You can choose from a large variety of private property signs to let others know that they are not allowed to park in your driveway or in front of your house. When you are not at home, a private property sign always reminds people that such behavior is unacceptable.
You can’t keep an eye on your home all day and you also don’t want to show yourself as an irritable person to your neighbors, so it is better to use a sign to protect your property. You have invested a large amount of hard-earned money to buy your place so you have the right to control it any way you choose. People do not usually want to trespass and enter other people’s property. They end up doing so when they do not know if they have inadvertently entered private spaces.

Can one get a ticket for not obeying signs on private property ?
Specifically, my post office has a one way sign but after hours when there is clearly nobody else there, I just go in the wrong way. Ditto for a bank when using the drive though.
Can I get a ticket for it ? Will I ?
Most definitely, just as you can get a ticket at the shopping center for parking in a handicap zone or on a fire lane or driving across the parking lot, not down the lanes. It’s because it deals with PUBLIC SAFETY, which is what police enforce. They cannot ticket you if you are parked for a long time, unless the owner calls them and a sign is posted, nor can they for playing your radio loud, unless again the owner calls and a sign is posted.
Excuse me Harley, no one but a police officer can write a ticket, its illegal, would not stand up in court. Therefore I believe he would be talking about receiving one from a cop.
