Five Reasons To Install A Home Security System
There is a reason that your neighbors, parents, and co-workers all have home security systems installed in their house—because it’s necessary. Every 15 seconds, a home is broken into, according to the FBI. Those are statistics that you don’t want to take a chance on. Installing a home security system doesn’t have to be time consuming or expensive. In fact, the process is easier and more affordable than ever. And these are just two of the reasons that you should install a home security system.
Your home alarm system comes with three points protection that are wirelessly connected to your security system’s mainframe, or keypad. These three points are set up at three different entry points into your home. If one of these entry points is forced, the three points send wireless signals to your keypad, which triggers the alarm. This immediately sends signals to your monitoring center, which works to help you during the emergency.
You also receive complete control of your home alarm system as well. Each system comes with a keychain that looks much like a car keychain. There are two buttons on the keychain that enable you to arm and disarm your system from any room in the house or even from 50 feet away. What’s more, the keychain comes with a panic button that allows you to trigger the alarm at any time. It’s a feature that comes in handy when you’re sick or injured and can’t reach the phone.
Installing a home alarm system is simple. Just call a home security provider, schedule an appointment, and a professional installer is sent to your home. He or she installs three points protection, which safeguard your home from three different entry points into your house. The entire system functions wirelessly, meaning there are no floorboards or drywall ripped up in the installation process. And it works just as well to protect your home as a wired home alarm system.
A home security monitoring center is just as crucial to protecting your home as the actual alarm system. Within seconds of alarm activation, a home security representative is on the phone with you. You work with the representative to assess the emergency and decide on next steps. He or she will even contact your local police or fire department for you, allowing you to devote your time to your family. Home security representatives are well trained in best home security practices as well as advanced security technology and are your best allies in a potential threat to your home.
Finally, a home alarm system does not have to be some extravagant purchase that breaks the bank. There are plenty of affordable packages available to every home on every kind of budget. For instance, a basic package can come at a cost of just $35.99 a month. That’s less than one family meal out on the town or a family trip to the movie theaters. Furthermore, you can customize your home security system with add-ons like flood, smoke and heat, and carbon monoxide sensors, which work to protect your home from a variety of dangerous circumstances.
Perhaps you don’t need a reason to install a home security system, but in case you do, there are plenty of persuasive reasons to better safeguard the people and place you value the most with a security system.

How long does it take to reformat a mac?
I’m just curious because I am about to sell mine, but I have a few time constraints and I just want to know when I can have the macbook available by.
It’s a 2.1 GHz Macbook 120 GB.. I’m not sure what other specs are needed to determine the time it will take.
Another question: Is there any way I can just delete history/keychain so he won’t have my password to anything and then I can have him reformat it himself? I just don’t want to be at security risk of personal information in any way..
about 2 and a half hour and 1 hour for linux or xp or ect
