Brinkmanship

Linda asks…
What are the astrological characteristics in synastry that indicate “brinkmanship”?
Brinkmanship is when one of the persons will escalate a trivial matter to the point where they either threaten to leave the relationship or destroy the relationship in order to “prove” he/she is “right” or get their way.
I know a couple of markers (Pluto in hard aspect to the other’s moon is one that comes to mind) but wondered what else might be an indicator.

I think one’s Sun making a hard aspect to another’s Pluto and/or Uranus ( notably the opposition , and then the square ) is also another indication. Uranus insists on personal opinions and freedom ( it is a fixed planet after all ), while Sun and Pluto concerns with individuality , power and righteousness.
In a relationship, the one holding Uranus ( no pun intended XD ) would say ” hey I know I am right, and damn you if you dont think so ” and leaves . I dont think Uranus is concerned much about threatening the relationship itself , it is more about using logic and any social connection that believes in him/her to prove that he/she was right.
The Pluto person would use any tactics , any power if it is gonna be dirty or underhanded or manipulative to be right. While the Sun person would just be ” I am right ” without trying to prove anything much. Unless of course the Sun individual has other aspects in his/her own chart that says otherwise ( with conjunction to Mercury : may try to rationalise and/or just insists on being right , with asppect to Venus : may try to use diplomacy to resolve , with Pluto making hard aspect to the Sun : well, it might be totally game-on )
Couples having Sun/Mars , Uranus/Mars also have problem with trying to be the alpha dog in the relationship.
If you are talking about subtle threat , then Neptune can totally do the job. In a synastry where one’s Neptune in hard aspect to the other’s Sun,Mars,Venus …when dissatisfied , Neptune individual may agree at first, but he/she would secretly sabotage ( same with Pluto ) any efforts that the other person makes that directly or indirectly relate to the main arguement to prove that the person was wrong. But with Neptune, this will done in a delicate and careful fashion so that separation would not occur and anger would be minimalised.

Mandy asks…
In what ways did the cuban missile crisis show the dangers of brinkmanship?
Im really dumb when it comes to history…puting it in simple words would be great lol.

Believe me I know you don’t know a lot about the history of that
era. And it is not your fault. They just don’t teach it. And if they
did they would probably get it all wrong.
However, there was no need for any one to be upset about it.
The Fifth Infantry Division had the situation well in hand.
MERRY CHRISTMAS and have a nice day.
Thank you very much, while you’re up!!
